Jefferson City, Missouri

Golf Simulator Installation in Jefferson City, Missouri.

We're a Kansas City crew, and the capital sits about two and a half hours east of our south-side shop. We build the schedule around that distance rather than pretend it away — and in Jefferson City the first thing we sort is whether we're working an older home near the Capitol or a newer one out south, because the two are different jobs from the start.

Why Jefferson City

A capital town with two kinds of house.

Jefferson City is the seat of state government and the anchor of Cole County, set on the bluffs above the Missouri River, and that gives it a homeowner base that doesn't swing with the seasons — career people in government and the professions who tend to stay put and invest in the house they're in. That steadiness shows up in the work: these are owners planning for the long haul, and a room they can play in through a real Missouri winter fits exactly how they think about a home.

The housing splits along the geography. The older, in-town homes near the Capitol and the historic core are careful retrofits — we read ceiling height, aging ductwork, and how the structure was put together before we commit to anything, because an established home rewards finish work that sits right with it. Push south and west into the newer subdivisions and the math changes: modern construction framed with the height a full swing wants, where the room often drops in clean or gets planned into a house that's still going up. Thirty years of finishing both kinds means we know which we're looking at on the first walk-through.

Around the Capital

Two Jefferson Cities, two different builds.

The line between the historic core and the newer edge runs right through how the room gets built. Where your house sits decides most of the questions before we quote a thing.

01

Historic homes near the Capitol & in-town core

Older houses with character, aging systems, and basements that weren't built with a golf swing in mind. These are finish-carpentry jobs as much as simulator jobs — when the basement can't clear a full swing we'll say so and look at a main-floor room or a reworked space, so the build sits right with the house instead of fighting it.

02

Newer subdivisions south & west of town

Modern construction, frequently framed with the basement height a swing needs. The room usually drops in clean, and if the house is still under build, that's where we'd rather start — planning the bay into the structure costs far less than carving it out later.

03

Homes still under construction

Across the south and west growth areas, plenty of lots are mid-build. Designing the bay into the framing — height, the power it draws, where the screen wall lands — is the cleanest and cheapest way to get a room that's right the first time.

Not sure which Jefferson City your house belongs to? That's what the walk-through settles — and since we're driving in from Kansas City regardless, we come ready to give you a straight answer on the first trip.

Visiting KC any time soon?

Worth a stop on the way through Kansas City.

Our five-bay showroom is at 103rd and State Line in south Kansas City. If a trip already runs through town — a game, family on the west side, a drive that passes this way — it's worth pulling off to stand in rooms we framed and finished ourselves. Photos only carry the idea so far; the proportions of a real bay land differently when you're standing in one.

FAQ

Jefferson City questions.

01

We own one of the older homes near the Capitol — can a simulator go in without spoiling the house?

+

Usually, but the historic in-town homes earn a careful first look. Shorter basements and aging systems are the common constraints, and we treat these as finish-carpentry jobs — the room has to sit right with the house, not just clear the club. When the basement can't give a clean swing we'll say so and point you at a main-floor room or a reworked space rather than force one that fights the structure. We self-perform the carpentry that has to be right and manage the licensed trades for whatever the older systems need.

02

You're in Kansas City — do you actually drive to Jefferson City, and how does the schedule work?

+

Regularly. The capital is about two and a half hours east, and Central Missouri is part of our normal range. Because of the distance we don't drip the job out over months of half-days — we plan the trips deliberately, arrive with what each stage needs, and keep you current on where things stand so the gap between us never turns into a guessing game.

03

We're building a new house south of town — when should we bring you in?

+

As early as you can, ideally while it's still framing. The newer south-and-west subdivisions usually give us the ceiling height a swing wants, and planning the bay into the structure — height, power, where the screen wall lands — is far cheaper and cleaner than retrofitting a finished basement. We coordinate straight with your builder so it reads as one plan, not two crews working around each other.
